Air polishing is one of the best alternatives to traditional rubber cup polishing. It is a more superior technique, as it is efficient, ergonomic, more technologically advanced, less abrasive method of removing extrinsic stain and plaque from the teeth. This CE webinar will discuss the history of air polishing, differences between traditional polish and air polish, materials utilized, patient and operator safety, contraindications to use, and maintenance of the equipment, in addition to correct technique.
